Our little Tippa ...
Mar 28th, 2010 at 8:58pm

Dear Friends,

It's with great sadness that I write these lines .... yesterday, March 27th 2010, my black Tippa-girl passed away very suddenly from heart failure. She died in my arms outside my home.

She will always be remembered for her sweetness and exceptional devotion ... though quite stubborn as befits a Chow, and an intelligent watch-dog when it mattered.

...

Poika and I miss her terribly!

Dear Christina--,

Shocked and followed by sadness we have to face that the handsome Black Pearl passed away in your arms yesterday.
She was a beauty and so very special and we (Helma and I) feel happy that we could meet her several times in Vienna.
She was the special Cover girl on the Chow Chow Calendar in 2007.

Christina, she left a paw print on your heart and we all at this forum will remember her being...yes, the Black Pearl of NetChows!
Tippa...go for it into eternity!

Dear Christina,

I'm feeling your deep sadness!

I can imagine what a shock it must have been  holding your beloved Tippa dying in your arms unexpectedly. But it surely was great for Tippa being safe in your arms and feeling your love to her very last moment.

Now Tippa's place is empty Cry!
I'm thinking of you and Poika who are painfully missing dear Tippa.

Dear Christina,

I am so sorry to hear of Tippa's crossing over.  The sorrow is so deep, but the memory of your loving chow is forever.

Dear Ted, Peter, Ursel and Ef-Deal,

Thank you so much for your messages, they mean a lot to me!

It keeps getting more real every day still ... at the same time, the memories we have of her are very real too. To me, she will always be lying on her favourite spots - usualy beside my desk or next to my bed at night, always moving to the room where I was.

My deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your Tippa.

I remember hearing her name so many years ago when we all first started with the internet.  The time that passes is so fast.

My thoughts are with you with hopes that in time you will find the peace.

Merlin, thank you so much!

Yes, she was still from those times ... when we all just started connecting and building wonderful new Chow friendships across countries and continents.

Chow-lives are just too short .......

Oh Jess ... I thought of Gurkan this week, and all our "original" Chows like Peter's Beer and Pau Lin and all the others ... sigh.

Thank you for your post ... wonderful to know Tippa is remembered even though I kept her and Poika very private lately ...

It is so sad when our chow kids leave us.
Lots of chow hugs sent your way.
I wish our chows could live as long as us.
